👉 The new "Goals" settings for Sponsored Brands CampaignsWhen creating campaigns, you have two distinct goals to choose from:
➡️ Drive page visits
- Helps boost brand consideration and guide customers to your store and product detail pages. Ads appear on search pages, detail pages, and the homepage, with clicks as the success metric.
- It's a cost-per-click type.
➡️ Grow brand impression share
This setting shows your ads to shoppers who search for your brand or within your brand categories. It's aimed at helping to drive brand discovery and brand growth by increasing the top-of-search impression share for your brand and your categories.
It's a vCPM cost type.
It's therefore important to note that similar to Sponsored Display, the attribution of Grow brand impression share is based on both clicks and views due to vCPM and not just clicks, unlike CPC campaigns. This is why, those may not be actual Ad sales coming from Ad clicks, and are often inflated sales numbers just like for SD.
