👉 3D model replaces 360 degree images
Starting December 14, Amazon has made a significant shift in product visualization – transitioning from 360-degree images to 3D models for product listings in the US, UK, Germany, Spain, France, and Italy.
Key updates:
- Brand owners can now upload 3D models to their listings.
- These models work with cool features like View in 3D, View in Your Room, and Virtual Try-on – great for items like electronics, bags, shoes, and more.
3D models make shopping more interactive and fun, helping customers feel more sure about what they're buying.
- Existing 360-degree images will remain unless replaced by 3D models.
- Previously, uploading 360 images required contacting support and waiting for reviews. Now, you can upload 3D models instantly in Seller Central.
- Amazon is also developing a Mobile 3D Scanning tool, allowing you to create 3D models right from your phone!
